Creation
As in Genesis 1:2, the creation of my painting was inspired by God’s creation of earth, especially the waters. Although still formless, I feel that God, while hovering over the waters, was aware of the existence of the dimensions of space. Through abstraction, I visualize my painting as matter being placed into a void as God filled the dark, empty surfaces of the waters with the creation of life.2023, Young IL C. Kang
